The brief
Bikershop, an online shop selling cycling gear, parts, accessories and clothing, needed a new logo suited to e-commerce. The mark had to be simple, legible and recognisable at small sizes, on both mobile and desktop.
What we did
Zale Design Studio began with the shop’s business goals and a review of existing solutions on the market. The new logo is built from simple geometric shapes that balance symbol and wordmark, with a legible, modern typeface and a colour palette that keeps good contrast on different backgrounds.
The outcome
Bikershop received a logo that stays legible at small sizes and is ready for use on its website, social media and other online channels. Zale Design Studio had previously produced a motion graphics video ad for Bikershop.

Logo design for Bikershop: a recognisable identity for an online shop
Bikershop is an online shop offering gear, accessories and clothing for cycling enthusiasts. As an online platform, Bikershop has to present itself to the market in a clear, recognisable way. As part of our work together, we designed a new logo to adapt its visual identity to the needs of an online shop and make the brand easier to recognise.
About Bikershop
Bikershop sells online, focusing on products for active riders and cycling enthusiasts. As an online shop, it wants every element of its visual identity, from the website design to the logo, to meet contemporary standards and be easy to recognise. The Bikershop website shows how the whole brand concept rests on clear communication with customers and simple design.
The logo design process
We began by getting to know the online shop's business philosophy and goals, working with the client to get a clear picture of what they wanted their visual identity to convey. The process started with an analysis of existing solutions on the market and a review of what works online.
The core idea was to create a logo that is simple, legible and suited to use across different digital platforms. To achieve that simplicity, we took a minimalist approach with clean lines and a balanced composition. Throughout, the emphasis was on functionality: the logo is designed to stay recognisable at small sizes, which is essential on both mobile and desktop screens.
Elements of the new logo
The new Bikershop logo is built from simple, easily recognisable geometric shapes. The design emphasises clean lines and a balance between symbol and text. We chose a colour palette that works well on screen and keeps good contrast on different backgrounds. The logo is used at various sizes, and its design gives it the flexibility to work across the website, social media and other online channels.
Beyond these basic elements, we paid particular attention to typography. The chosen typeface is legible and modern, so the Bikershop name stays easy to read whatever the size or format. This helps create a consistent brand look across all digital platforms.
Logos for online shops
For online shops, the logo plays a key role in presenting the brand. A well-designed logo lets visitors recognise the company instantly and focus on the site's content. Key points to consider when designing a logo for an online shop include:
Scalability: The logo needs to be legible and recognisable at different sizes, whether on a small phone screen or a large computer monitor. A simple design helps it stay recognisable.
Simplicity: Online, a cluttered design can make the brand's message harder to grasp quickly. A simple, clean logo helps customers focus on what matters and makes digital content easier to navigate.
Flexibility: Online shops use their logos on many different backgrounds and media, from websites and apps to social media and online advertising. The logo must adapt to these conditions without losing quality or recognisability.
Brand identity: The logo is often the first thing customers notice when they visit a website. It is the foundation of the visual identity and helps build trust. Using the logo clearly and consistently across all digital channels strengthens the brand.
Conclusion
Designing the Bikershop logo was a fun project, and an instructive one. Working with the client, we arrived at a design that fits the digital world well and keeps the brand recognisable on every online platform. The new logo was designed with an emphasis on functionality, simplicity and consistency, the key elements in presenting an online shop successfully.
A good logo for an online shop has to be adaptable, legible and clear. For Bikershop, the aim was to create a visual identity that helps visitors recognise the brand instantly and feel a connection with what it offers. The process has given Bikershop a solid foundation for future growth and success in the market.
With this approach to design, online shops can communicate their values and services effectively, which builds customer trust and makes the decision to buy easier. The Bikershop logo shows how carefully considered design can contribute to the overall success of an online business.
