Logo design — design studio in Zagreb
Logo design at Zale Design Studio includes three initial concepts, two rounds of revisions and files for print and web. The first concepts usually arrive within about five working days.
What logo design includes
A logo is the mark customers recognise you by — on a business card, a website, a vehicle or a package. So we don't treat it as decoration: it has to stay legible at small sizes, in one colour and on a dark background.
Logo design includes:
- three initial concepts, each with the reasoning behind the colours and typeface,
- two rounds of revisions to the chosen concept,
- vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) and raster files (JPG, PNG),
- a colour system, a signature typeface and basic usage guidelines.
If you would like five concepts instead of three, mention it in your enquiry and we will adjust the quote.
Logo design for companies, sole traders and new brands
Every logo we design goes through the same process, whatever the size of the business, from sole traders to institutions.
We design logos for new companies, sole traders and products that need their first mark, and for businesses whose current logo has become dated. We have redesigned logos for Radić, the US company Safety United and Eko-Mlaz.dm, a company from Novska founded in 1994. For Eko-Mlaz.dm we kept the recognisable elements of the old mark and brought them up to today's design standards. We explain when a redesign is the better choice in our article on logo redesign.
We work across very different sectors: finance (Liberfin), IT (Sequurd, Kodium Pro), hospitality and tourism (Grizli bar, Casa del Sol) and personal services (O'Brada, a men's hair salon).
How we design a logo
Every project starts with a short enquiry: your company name, what you do and a few logos you like. We then send a quote with an exact price and deadline. Before sketching, we look at your sector and your competitors, because the logo has to suit your business and set you apart from them. We present each concept with the reasoning behind it, so the choice is easier, and refine the chosen one until it is ready for print and web.
We have more than 10 years of experience in graphic and web design; see our work in the logos category. What drives the price is explained in How much does logo design cost.
If you also need business cards, letterhead and brand guidelines, see our visual identity service.

How long does logo design take?
We usually send the first three concepts within about five working days of the quote being accepted, although this can vary with our workload at the time of your enquiry. How long the whole project takes depends on how quickly your feedback arrives during the revision rounds. We confirm the exact deadline when we agree the project.
How many logo concepts do I get?
The base price includes three initial concepts. If you want five or more, mention it in your enquiry and we will adjust the quote.
Which file formats do I receive?
You receive the logo in vector formats (AI, EPS and PDF) and raster formats (JPG and PNG), with a defined colour system and typeface. These files cover both print and web.
Do you redesign existing logos?
Yes. Our redesigns include logos for Radić, Safety United and Eko-Mlaz.dm. For Eko-Mlaz.dm the aim was to keep the recognisable elements of the old mark and bring them up to today's design standards. We price a redesign in the quote once we have seen the existing logo.
Do you design logos for small businesses and sole traders?
Yes. Logo design for a company follows the same process whatever its size, from sole traders and new brands to institutions: three initial concepts, two rounds of revisions and files for print and web.
